Even though this music was not for the graduation concert, I just would like to emphasize and shorten my learning from music college days with this. I surely remember this was for the certain weekly concert and performed again for my class' own concert. Here is the proof.
Speaking about my major music composition, I regret in one hundred percent. When I had to choose my major, just before entering the university, music composition was my best and only remained choice to study music. I didn't expect to deal with contemporary music at all as a Baroque Music lover.
My 3rd and 4th years were terrible. (I don't know the terms of college grade such as senior) I hate atonal music, back and now. Because of lacking interest, I also didn't know how to compose them properly, even just for a few measures. One day, when I was making a quartet in atonal, I threw my pencil and shed all my tears, sitting on the floor.
But I can guarantee my college days were my heyday for music. I had a lot of opportunities to discover a bunch of great classical music masterpieces, except for the 20th Century Music which I hate as I said. In nowdays, when I listen to my music from college, I even cannot understand myself from the past.
The whole tone was my alternative way of atonal music. My professor allowed me to compose with it and my last work in college resembled to Piazzolla's. (He saved my life) But my title song from the music college is this song above definitely.
I still remember the reaction from my sister and the audience. When we had a conversation about the class concert, she said, "Your music was the easiest to listen and enjoy among other students' works which were difficult to understand." And that day, when this music was nearly at the end, everyone astonished loudly at the ending point by the strong and powerful scale, just created by the flute.
Well, this all happening is especially thanks to Justo Almario. (First of all, give thanks to the God certainly) If you know him, you will catch what I mean.
